Gentleman's Chair with Curved Wooden Arms

I was attracted to this chair by it's curved wooden arms and carved wooden front legs. I bought it at an auction recently and believe the style to be unusual. I really like the overall appearance of the chair. I would be interested in knowing the approximate date of manufacture and the manufacturers name. I would appreciate receiving any comments.
