I'd love to know what these are called, and whether this is a very old one or not, and what kind of value does it have? I believe that it is from India, or maybe Indonesia, or even Thailand. I've seen them around for years and always really liked them, but this one seems particularly old and nice. Most have a gold color, but this one is based on silver.

Hi, I have a similar one on my wall. They either come from Burma or Thailand. They are called Kalagas. If you look it up on the web you will get all the information you need. I hope that helps you.
