I found this small Aquamarine insulator in Maine . There is no embossing or marks . Fairly small as you can see . No threads . Mushroom shaped is my best description ! I have not been able to come up with a match on the net ! Any help from the pro's is greatly appreciated ! Thanks MaineRelic

      He's a little thin skinned, isn't he?

I'm not sure what you mean. Nor am I sure which came first-- his post here or on the Forum. Just thought I'd let everyone know it's either a CD 780 insulator or CD 61 battery rest (Mot likely the insulator.)

'Thin skinned' means touchy, easily offended... (Based on the other forum's postings)

Careful before this offends him. :P
It got ridiculous, but when one feels wronged one will wrong in his own hurt-- be it his pride or emotions that were hurt.
It was just a big misunderstanding when Jim said he thought two pieces were glued together. To our friend, it seemed that Jim had told him, "Ah, you glued two things together to act like you have something." But that wasn't what was meant. The item is just so rare that it is not something easily remembered by even experts-- and Jim is a kind expert.

Definitely a CD780. Some of the earliest insulators. Extremely nice piece!
