    (708 items)

    Mouth 5 1/2" wide.
    Height 13 1/2".
    Body 34 1/2 in diameter.
    Color Gray to Blackish
Three incised fish with raised wave/water decoration.
Impressed Mark/Monogram CT. Another mystery mark to figure out!
    Hand thrown.
In the 3rd picture I tried to capture the inside.
On the bottom someone has put some type of material on it. Should I remove to look for further marks? I think I should......it's killing me not to.

    Unsolved Mystery

It could be the English potter Charles Tustin, looks like his mark. He worked with Michael Cardew at Winchcombe Pottery in the 1930-50’s, and his monogram is usually accompanied by the Winchcombe mark. Possibly a solo piece or there’s another mark under the base. I’m presuming it’s felt? Soak overnight in warm soapy water. Any residual glue can be removed with liquid lighter fuel on a cotton ball

maryh1956 the material on the bottom is not felt. I'm going to soak it and try to remove it today. When I searched the CT mark Charles Tustin did come up. I can't wait to see the bottom after this material is removed. I will post pictures once I get it off.
