This is a jar, we bought it to Dorita by a pair of dollars, neither she nor we knew anything about it but it is so well done. Once at home we connect to internet and search for Ceramica Toscana Manigrasso (last picture). What we learned was very interesting; this was done here in Glew, Buenos Aires, Argentina. A small city where there were several inmigrant artist mainly from Italy. http://bibliotecarojaspaz.blogspot.com.ar/2012_05_01_archive.html in this blog you can find pictures and some information about Cosimo and his foundation, he has passed away about ten years ago. The entire piece is done in the most traditional way with making a large roll of clay and then coiling it. The enamel is superb.
