    Here's a beautiful large deep plate that I picked up at GW this morning. I believe it's Japanese. I couldn't find the mark on Gotheborg's site this time around. Most likely fairly new and I think definitely 20th century. -Mike-

      The bottom character is 'zan' I think.

      No, it's not A char but TWO chars on the bottom. It's a early variant of Imari porcelain. A bench mark could be found here.

      Thanks again shrine :)... I was hoping they might have given an approximate date. I saw a couple years there but wasn't sure what they pertained too.
