My great-grandmother Ellen (born in Malin Head, Ireland) with four of her eleven children: Clement Vincent, Mary Jane, Ellen Theresa (Nellie) and John Edward (John was my grandfather). Nellie was 21 years older than John and like a second Mother to him. The children were the first generation born in the USA.

Love seeing the girls with those big bows, so cute!!

That's great aunt Mary with the bow! Mary, her older sister Nellie next to her in the photo and another sister Katie not in the photo never married. They lived together as spinsters. I remember as a child going over to their house after church on Sundays and they always had Coca Cola in the 6 oz glass bottles and a variety box of Pepperidge Farm cookies.

SMD, they could mix you right in there and no one would doubt you were a member of the family!

You & Nellie are holding your head the same way, must be related:)

Thanks! The family resemblance has definitely been passed down.

Walksoftly - good observation, and a bit eerie!
