I don't have an extensive library of N. American Art Pottery so I do need help to identify who made this interesting Pottery Bowl......who knows, it might not even be N. American. It has a Matte outer finish and a mottled Green with black specks inner glaze. The designs should help in identifying it and it is also marked with 27-74 or 21-14 underneath; not sure whether it's a 7 or a 1. It measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall. Anyone recognize the maker/pattern. Thanks everyone, RER(BOB)

With that numeration might even be West German?

Hello vetraio50! Thank you for your comments and love. I thought that too, but usually there was a W.Germany or other info added with the numeration. I know that some USA Pottery Companies also used style/pattern numerations with slashes between the numbers. Someone will surely recognize this almost "native" style decoration.

Thanks idcloisonne! Is the decoration style S.W. Native American or popular art...that's what intrigues me. BOB

Thank you for sharing this, it really brought a lot of interesting comments to board. I have a little set of similarly shaped bowls that are matt on the outside and glazed on the inside. I always thought they were American and now I am interested in them again and looking forward to finding out more about them. Thank you Bob. You started this new little quest for me. Thank you too to those who took the time to offer their opinions and information.

Wow! Thanks idcloisonne! You have a very keen sense of observation.....to be able to remember the details of an unlabelled pottery pattern months after seeing it. I'm glad that this example still had it's label. BOB
