Incredible and very rare , Circa 1930/40 Carnival Chalkware in the shape of creepy scary skulls.
This style is very early , came without stoppers - they were casted solid then a small chamber was carved in the bottom to hold the seasonings ,holes were then drilled to meet the chamber. They have never been used as shakers, with 2 chips to note , one on each visible in the picture. Each has a yellowed aged piece of tape over the bottom holes. One has a grease pen mark under the chin.
They are quite remarkable , very early found , and highly sought after.
