Founded in the 1950s by Jerry DeNicola, his early line called "The Real Look" was comprised of costume jewelry meant to look like fine jewelry. Some of their well known pieces are the poured glass styles, the zodiac line, and the frogs. DeNicola at it's best is well designed and detailed, whimsical and unusual.
This brooch is missing one rhinestone, so if you know of or can find someone who restores costume jewelry, putting in only on rhinestone would be a cinch! On the back, it is signed on the cartouche in the middle.
Measurement: 2-3/8 in. diameter
I have DeNicola envy! Let me know if you are seriously about having it repaired. I can help you out.
Yes, my dirty little secret. I have a stash of old stones :o
Whoops! My bad!
