This is a very pretty plate i picked up at Goodwill today. It's beautifully made and in perfect condition. I looked up the maker and it's Vincenzo Solimene whose workshop is at Arcosanti - the futuristic community experiment on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The workshop/studio was designed by Paolo Soleri and built in 1951 and is an amazing site even in photos. This plate is from the Tulipani line.

Very similar in style and colour to Quimper pottery in France. Simple and effective. Regards William.
