Vintage Meerschaum Charoot Holder with Bone Fitting i was aslo told it had a Jewel mouth piece was made out of Amber? I believe he said that it was made in the 1950's???? If you know something about this item please let me know. I received tthis item after my father passed away and would love to know more about it. Thank you. ..

It's spelled Meerschaum. Now put the word vintage in front of it while you research the whole title and you will find it.

This is a meerschaum cheroot holder which indeed originally has an amber, or kunstbernstein (artificially reconstituted amber) mouthpiece. It was made in Germany, probably Thuringia (East Germany) around 1920/30.
If you search "meerschaum cheroot holder" on google you will find many variation on this item.
