I have a coca cola bottle that is square on the bottom the four sides are flat the top of the bottle is round. It is I am assuming the Georgia / Aqua green. Has ccc at top in script in circles, and sodawater in bold letters with property of coca cola bottling co. con 6fl oz. I have been able to find similar bottles on e-bay but they are smooth and have stars instead of ccc, this one has a pattern on it in the top and at the bottom of kinda like an ace bandage or bandaid weave? On the bottom it says Little Rock ARK. with no pattend info. I am unsure when it was made or what is worth but would love some feed back.

I don't know much about this bottle, but I can tell you one thing, it is a pre-war bottle, the greenish color comes from Copper in the glass mixture, something they stopped doing during WWII, as they needed the copper for the War.

this bottles were used by coca cola distributors to sell their flavored drinks like grape, orange, lemon lime. etc

pretty common made from about 1923-30. and yes this is for the flavored soda by coke. root beer orange etc. 5-10 at the most . diplays nice. really common city a better city could double the value of it.

I have one with stars that was made in Mt. Vernon, IL
      Anyone know anything about it?

Some of these were made in Bogalusa, La. which is where we live and they have the city of origin Bogalusa across the side.

I have an identical bottle same markings pattern and everything as your bottle, they could be twins but mine is from Lexington Mississippi. Like in the previous posting this bottle is from the 20s.

This bottle is from the Little Rock Coca-Cola bottling plant; it was not "made" there. Bottlers ordered bottles from various manufacturers. This one was made at a plant belonging to the "Owens-Illinois Glass Co." It is marked with their monogram and dated on the base. If the picture wasn't so blurry I could tell you when t was made. And as Coca-Cola Kid said, it is a flavor bottle, not a "Coca-Cola". It is called a "property of" because it was the property of the bottling plant. There is probably a patent date on it too, on the heel. It is a little unusual that it is light green, but that has nothing to do with WW II.

i have one simular but it has lincoln on the sides it is from hot springs ark. i believe it has 5 sides on it. what would the v alue of this be. it has large chips on bottom
    9. oldcokes, 12 years ago
That is the usual Hot Springs type. It is where the national park is, but I'm not sure off hand what that has to do with Lincoln. I have no idea of its "value." I wish there were catalogues for these bottles - like with coins. Of course, even then one would not really know. (You can always try putting it on e-bay - but even that won't tell you the real value!!)
