In the UK, we have a way of offloading our unwanted rubbish on complete strangers in exchange for cash. This is known to aficionados as "car booting", in America I think it is "swap-meet".
My find this year is this mint (except for the scratched crystal) 1970's/80's Communist-era Sekonda 21 jewel date watch.
The grey dial is great, and the date at six is a favourite of mine.
The M2 (Moscow factory no.2) 21 jewel movement has twin barrels, giving an extended running time of 47 hours.
Unusual, good looking and cheap at just two pounds fifty pence, or about five bucks.
