Need help to Ids these babies I think they are around 1850s from my online research. I think one is a low brow (smaller) and high brow (larger head) dolls. I got them from a auction and didn't know if they were repos. There is slight bubbling on the smaller one; and wanted to know if that was normal for the age of the doll. But super excited about my pick.
Hi I need a close up of faces and photo's upright . The little one is called a low brow she is most common to find and was made for longest time late 1880-1930. The other one is called a " Flat Top" Still a common one to find but more desirable them "Low Bro" At first glance though sense something about them that I question age . Also China doesn't seem shiny ,no paint loss on back of heads which you would normally see and they eyes on flat top ? Usually I can say for sure one way or the other by painting but there are some people that have mastered the painting pretty well . So please more photo's closer up :-)
Here is what I usually see on face on Antique flat top china . Circa 1870-80

100% genuine antique china heads. Both do have defects which will devalue them somewhat, with the crack on the flat top, and chipping on the low brow, but still lovely examples.
