    This little 2.5"w x 2.5" h pot is not round but oblong , its white glaze interior makes me think possibly a salt pot for cooking ?? The exterior is terracottary coloured clay which is lined top to bottom !!
    Its quite heavy for its size and is marked on the base-

    I have seen this type of pot before but dont know where so please any ideas what its for ,who made it , where its from ?? Any comments very welcome :-)

      Think its just a flower pot. Sometimes the exterior finish is referred to as scratchware (or scratch ware). Camark made a line in the 40s-50s but theirs were glazed on the exterior also. Don't know who made yours, perhaps a studio potter - meaning an ID is unlikely.

      Thanks art.pottery for your info it would be a very small flower pot !! I have seen larger ones that are for flowers but unglazed inside, just seems too small to me ! Sd
