All I know is it was purchased from fingerhut over 40 years ago by my grandparents. It is vinyl with wooden screw on legs.

Phil here is one with a label does that help ?
Here is one similar from Fingerhut . They were made by Fingerhut according to label . I always thought of them as being a distributor company not making anything just selling things made by others.

Fingerhut actually started and owned a chair company that became SOI Fingerhut to produce chairs around 1950-52 I think. They were mass produced and as I recall possibly in Ohio. It didn't work out well but I think the original company was bought out and is still producing chairs.

Fingerhut has tried a little of everything and failed at most everything except selling junk for huge prices. Late 90's when I went back to college to get my A+ certification and network certification they would hire you sight unseen as a subcontractor and advertise you as a "loyal Fingerhut employee" with many years experience. They looked at where you lived and took a compass and drew a circle on the map 20 miles out, 40 mile diameter. That was your protected area. Anyone who ordered a computer in that circle you got paid to go set it up and if need be one hour of basic instruction. I believe now items are marked Made For Fingerhut if they aren't name brand items. At their prices I am amazed they can stay in business.
