Went to some garage sales after work today and came home with this serving table cart, the owner said it was her grandmothers and she called it antique. Im not sure how old it is but it looks old and needs refinishing, it will go good in our living room as an end table. comments welcome.

Thanks Vintagefran, I can tell by the way the wheels are made that's its old, there built like old wagon wheels. I've not seen another with wheels like these!
It is a tea cart with a glass serving tray. If you try researching it you will find plenty of them with the same wheels. They are selling for $20 on silvertownauctions.com. Mass produced in Asia and made to look old.

Are you serving coca cola ? I'll take a glass please :-) actually I prefer the other word ( the P one lol) But went to rehab and got off it . I quit drinking Pepsi and soda many years ago and between just me and you I never liked taste of coke . Geez I will likely be thrown of CW after telling <wink>
You can say it Manikin..PEPSI !!! YEH!! I don't drink soda pop either, probably why I still have my teeth except one LOL, I live on coffee and beer LOL , as a kid I loved Crush, with a scoop of ice cream, YUM. If they kick us off of CW we'll start our own sight! LOL

This does not look like an Asian cart made to look old, not from what I can see. The hardware would tell the story.
It does look like a Paalmen ??? or close to that from the 30/40's.
I would just clean it up with some of that restorer type product.

Thanks AzTom, I agree and hardware looks old, I can see underneath that it had a paper label glued on but its gone, it could be a Paalmen but I have not seen another one the same as this, I have seen the same wheels but on different carts.
