Table looks like an English Pub Table.

It looks to have pull out leaves and the typical barley twist legs.

The table looks to date from the first half of the 20th century. Some additional photos (underside, hardware, etc...) MAY confirm or narrow the dating.

I agree Phil chairs do not match table .The table maybe older than chairs hard to tell by photo's .

      Here is a similar table:

Don't take the asking price as a general value. These tables are desirable and useful and usually do bring good money.

Thanks all, the Table is not associated with the Chairs, it's you basic drop leaf oak. The Chairs have absolutely no markings, and the nails are clearly from at least the 40's. thanks for the info, they are just real comfortable, i love them and was wondering if they had any history i could figure out. I'm guessing they were not mas produced and just some good ole woodworker put them together back in the day.

Looks like a cross tip screw holding the ends of the seat backs to the arm rest.

If I am seeing that correctly-- they would be very late 1930s at THE EARLIEST. I am NOT saying these ARE that early.
