I ENTERED THESE TEAK/BRASS FOLDING CHAIRS TEN DAYS AGO WONDERING IF ANYBODY COULD GIVE ANY INFORMATION ON AGE,COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.DID NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSE.AM TRYING AGAIN.MAYBE NOBODY LIKES THEM.THEY ARE AWAITING CANVAS,AS I AM RESTORING.I LIVE IN ENGLAND.
They look very well made. What is the purpose of the extendable arms? No markings?
Research Anglo-Indian Planters chair. Made of teak in England. This is a modern reproduction. Some had folding arms and others extending arms.
EXTENDABLE ARMS ARE PROBABLY TO REST YOUR FEET ON.WHEN YOU SAY A MODERN REPRODUCTION,WHEN DO YOU THINK THEY WERE MADE?
