Some people call these pretty Girl Figurines "Courtesans" but Renaissance Girl sounds more appropriate. I purchased this figurine as a gift for my wife at an Antique store in the mi-70's. She measures 10 1/2" tall by 7" at the widest and she probably had a male counterpart when she was produced at the Barovier & Toso (Murano) glassworks in the 1950's. She has been in the background of many photos of items that I uploaded here at CW so the time has come to give her, her 15 minutes of fame. RER
