    BeautifulO…
    (4 items)

Any ideas on what this is? height is 4-1/2" x 3-1/2 wide. Seem to be cast, but not heavy like iron--maybe aluminum???? Pins on the top half fit into slots on the bottom, then twisting locks the two together. three short legs on bottom, and ring on top.

I'm thinking could put a food item in it, then lower into water and remove and set out to dry/cool?????

Wow! TubeAmp thanks for solving the mystery for me. I never would have guessed.
(And Im a big fan of Lee Valley.) I think mine is an original as there are very slight variations compared to the reproduction. Thanks again!

Hi beautifuloruseful (like the name:). Just the type of curio I'd want to know more about. I was thinking along the lines of incense until seeing TAs link. Great item.
