I found this block plane today for five bucks and I really enjoy it. Most definitely has some age to it. Really nice patina hand worked with straight saw marks. Just looking at it now I noticed the letters: "UTCHER" on the thin metal piece that makes up the handle. The other two names that are stamped onto the wood look like markings on old coin silver spoons. The names stamped are:

    "S. Covill" & "J. Towler"

I think this is a plane used for cabinets or moldings? Hoping for some clarification on that. Enjoy!
