These 2 gorgeous lamps my late mother purchased at a yard sale years ago in Brockville Ontario, CANADA. They are stunning.
The detail is impeccable. The flower detail is etched in the glass and the metal base is very heavy. there are 2 bulbs in each lamp. the bottom bulb is much dimmer and gives off a beautiful orange glow. when turning on the lamp, the first click turns on just the dim bulb on the bottom and the 2nd click turns on both bulbs and the 3rd click turns on only the top (much brighter bulb) No clue where they came from originally or who made them. Any ideas???
I just purchased one like this today and was hoping to find out more about it as well. Did anything turn up for you?
Does yours also read L & L WMC 1974 under the brass base? Mine does. I discovered that this is the Loevsky & Loevsky White Metal Castings Co. and they were commissioned do to the brass work for this lamp. This doesn't solve the riddle, however.
Hello Jaeter, I checked under my lamp bass and it reads EF &EF Industries Inc. 1972 . Not sure if that is just the name of the manufacturer of the base or the whole lamp set itself.
I did some research online and I believe they are made by Fenton. if you google " Vtg Fenton Iridescent Amber Glass Electric Table Lamp Ornate Brass Floral" it shows up on Ebay with a lamp very similar to the one you and I have
I have Scales of Justice with that mark of L & L WMC on them:

Thought I would just mention....Thanks
