Almost looks like a "green man".

No markings on it anywhere, what is a green man??
    3. Plantlust, 10 years ago
A pagan, spirit of the forest. Been around a LONG time.
Usually carved into churches etc and made of stone or carved into wood. Google "green man" and click on images.

I know it doesn't help your ID but it might help you narrow down your search.
