I finally almost completed my new Antique Cabinet filled already to the rim with Bohemian treasures of Loetz, Pallme Konig, Kralik and Rindskopf's. This was so satisfactory to work on! I cannot believe this cabinet filled so fast! I have more vases to fill another one! Yikes! I will see what pops up for more cabinets available. I am not sure I want to keep the Dark Amethyst vases on the bottom. Hmmmm.....working on that one.
Thanks for looking!
And yes. I earthquake secured the cabinet on both sides
Awesome!!!
After some time looking at them, ypou'll know which ones mut go and let place to others... it always hapens so :)
Very pretty, and extremely colourful. Love it. Only wish I knew more about the glass. Jean
You will find yourself tinkering with the display every time you add a new piece to the collection so try not to think of your display as static instead think "this is how it looks for the time being". Nicely done.
I think we did this once before but I would love to see how others have displayed their collections.
I can still see lots of space to fill in there ! he! he ! he !......
Very nice collection and a great display. Real beauties... Congratulations.

And *this* is why I never get around to using museum putty to secure my glass! I'll be crying if we have a big earthquake, but suspect I'm not alone in that. Very beautiful display you have!
great display
It's funny TableauxArts brings out the earthquake question... when I was living in Miami I used to think what could I do with my glass there in case of a hurricane... my idea was building some kind of concrete trunk under the house :) In any case our house -a wooden addition to a former brick house- was blown away by Katrina when I was already back in Spain (and thank god my ex had moved into the brick house only the day before).
And I totally agree with Mac!!! After the arrival of a new Loetz vase the display of all the three glass cabinets will change completely... that's our biggest problem: there will always be a new item to add to our collections :)
stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!! and more stunning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lee, you did a fantastic job with your display! The quality of your collection shines through. It's really very beautiful. I hope you find another cabinet that compliments what you have. Thanks for sharing!!

TableauxArts, all my pieces are museum puttied. And hard to move around. And safe. As best as I can make them. Thanks for your comment and loving :)

Lovely...yes we've had to secure ours as last time we had one with the epicentre not too far away..the whole cabinets shook..hubby went nuts..he said, see, I told you not to buy all that fragile. S*** they do tend to over react the British ...lol.
TableaauxArts... didn't you mention an earthquake just three days ago?
Moonstone, I am glad you're in LA and your glass is safe!
Austro, very lucky to be in LA! I have secured all the vases best I can. :)
