Something slightly different acquired for 75% book value (Pet's 10th) through an eBay BIN listing.
I had been on the look out for one of these fountain tap knobs for some time. Having the actual tap attached is an added bonus. It gives the piece an almost sculptural feel. Chrome, Enamel, Celluloid, and Bakelite. Oh my, so mid-century modern!
I thought about sinking it into the wall, but decided it looks nice placed on one end of The Coke Cave fireplace mantle.
