This is an old Philco Radio Phonograph. I've had it for many years. It doesn't work, but it does power up and it's all there. It very nice looking and very clean. Is there anyone out there that restores these old radios? Because I would like to try to get it working, but I don't know where to begin to look for the tubes and motors etc. If anyone has any useful information I would be very interested in finding out how to go about getting this old Philco working. Thanks
Check the CW radios section - several of those guys restore radios and show them on their postings board - maybe one of them is near you or can steer you in the direction to obtaining the parts needed.
aghcollect, thanks I'll do that.
Phil,
I think I could repair it if I could find the parts. The motor for the turntable is bound up and the radio probably just needs a tube because the volume works but there's no static. Just a hum.
