Burlwood and Pietra Dura Trinket Box - Karlsbad, Germany

This is a circa 1930's trinket box / jewelry box my mom had as a child.
Made of burlwood with a Pietra Dura inlay on the lid with "Karlsbad".
It has brass inlayed strap reinforcements at all the side corners and on each side of the lid. The corner reinforcements on the lid have come off and been lost but I will refabricate some replacements from sheet brass. The lining on the inside bottom is a brown felt. The lock on the front is still working however I will have to locate the key. Measures about 5 1/8" by 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" high. - Karlsbad is an administrative area in the district of Karlsruhe, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
