    This is an unopened and unused dozen box of Acushnet "Pinnacle 90" white golf balls made by Acushnet Company, New Bedford, Mass. - Each inner box contains a set of three Pinnacle #1, #2, #3, and #4 marked balls.
    The Acushnet Company offered free personalized print up to 18 letters with the purchase of their balls - These are personalized in black print block letters "Brown Chemical", a chemical manufacturing company located in Oakland, NJ. - The date code on the box lids states these were made in February, 1986.
    ** The Acushnet Process Company was founded in 1910 in Acushnet, Mass. deresinating latex and supplying rubber to industry, and soon began to make their own rubber-based products including water bottles and bathing caps, and then eventually a manufacturer of golf equipment and golf balls. In 1935, the Golf division produced the Titleist golf ball, which has been the company's most successful product. In 1976, the company was purchased by American Brands (now known as Fortune Brands). They are currently a subsidiary of Fila Korea, Ltd. and their primary golf brands include Titleist, FootJoy, Scotty Cameron, and Pinnacle.
