Hand carved oriental table with matching chairs

I bought this from a friend who knows very little of it's origin but decided to use it as my first restoration project. I broke it down and removed the lacquer that's been there for lord knows how long, hand sanded each piece and stained it, then put a couple coats of polyurethane on it and viola
