Continuing on with my latest obsession for jewelry, I picked these up at Volunteer's of America this afternoon. The large 2 1/2" faux pearl and rhinestone brooch is still in it's original perfume scented box. It's obviously an Asian piece but I've had no luck in finding the company. The initials "CL" and the two Asian characters are all there is on the box. It's also faintly stamped on the back of the piece. It's big and beautiful and caught my eye right away. The little Avon enamel and rhinestone egg pendant is pretty too. It's marked on a tiny oval tag near the clasp. There was another piece I really wanted made by "Originals by Robert". A necklace of dual strand pearls supporting a huge rhinestone floral cluster. It was amazing and so was the price.... one hundred and seventy dollars !! I found out it's very high end costume from the forties and worth probably two hundred and fifty retail ! Tuesday is half price day assuming it would still be there, but even eighty five is too steep. Maybe it will hang around till it hits seventy five percent off like the ear rings I missed last month ! -Mike-

Mike, it says Ca Ling, hence CL initials. Ca Ling is a girls name.
