Oak Rocking Chair. Hand painted on the back, which is made of one piece of wood and molded to curve the back of the chair. It was my mom's. We think it dates back to 1920's. It could come from upstate NY.
It is very comfortable to sit and rock in.
Not sure what the style is, and if the era is correct.
thank you
The rocker was made by The Wisconsin Chair Company, Port Washington.
We have the same one but yours is in much better shape. What's left of the label states" Keep Bolts and Screws Tight". I don't know anything more than that so far.
