Call me confused!! (again...yeah I know)
This vase did have a label on it simply saying "KAMAY JAPAN", and when I dug around a bit I found that some Japanese write Kamei as Kamay in Romanji.
I wasn't sure at first but now I have established that Kamei was the company name prior to bankruptcy in the 1990s, and Kamay is the name given to the more recent company, which seems to mainly distribute kitchen and home wares.
I don't know who made this vase, as I don't believe Kamay are producers now.
It does have a look of Tsudaru Vidro with it's mix of blue and green and the clear trails around the body. No certainty there however.

Lovely vase & great post! I know nothing about Japanese glass, or Asian come to that, but its very nice. Thanks for the education :)
Thanks Fran.
I never started out this way but Japanese glass has become a bit of a thing for me, and I'm trying hard to research it.
And show others a bit about it too!
