anyone seen this style??
removed from an old stone building in the Los Rios District (oldest community in California) and used in a residence owned by the Montanez family. In the 1890s, per the Montanez family, it was put away and stored when that adobe went under restoration. My father came across it when my grandfather was building a newer building there in the 1950s. It appears to be 100% bronze. My father had it rewired and new candle covers and bobeche's installed, when I was a teenager, im 62yo, and we used it until 2007. I can find no makers mark on it. Its unusual, heavy, possibly Spanish/Euro.
Have seen on TV but what a wonderful piece to own lucky you I hope you said thanks dad
