My Mother was a doll collector in Phoenix. She passed away. I now have a boy doll (looks almost like a small manequin) that is marked Ideal Toy Company T-28. Does anyone know the name of this doll and approximately what year he was made? If so, please contact me at ivesorbill@bellsouth.net. Thanks much, Ives Neely
For Manekin: doll is 28 inches long. There are no markings on neck, only on upper back.

Your doll mark is for Ideal's Version of Saucy Walker however yours has that body but not head ? What is head made of Hard plastic or composition ? It appears there has been something done to neck area can you photo so I can see head and torso ? The Saucy Walker had a Vinyl face and yours does not . Do you see a mark on back of neck or his/her back also ? Dolls like this were made in 1960's . They made a larger doll Patty Play Pal and Peter 36 inch that could wear children's clothes but they were dolls are yours is not a mannequin but I have seen little shops use the larger size dolls like a thrift shop use them to display children's clothes

Head appears to be plastic (I'm not a collector, so don't know the difference between composition and plastic or vinyl...will be in town in a couple days and can ask someone). Thanks, Ives

I am not sure it is original head for doll ? When you get back please take a photo of her/him with no clothes ok I have to see if it is correct body for head . And does head turn when you move legs ? The head appears older than body . Thank you for your reply on my questions :-)
