Large and Heavy. Blue and decorated with flowers. Signed.....Jim/Tim Hahne?? Have you seen this signature before? But it's blue with some brown and pottery so yes I purchased it...lol. Another thrift store find.....wish there was a pair.
Looks like TIM HARNE & initialed rc.
Just had another look rc maybe 84 as in 1984 when it may have been made!
It's a well made piece - is there any records of local potters in the US, or societies that may have a list? Even a facebook group? This potter clearly had a lot of experience and skill.
I love that blue!
Ripley206 I clicked on you link to FaceBook and decided to read all the comments and found this posted by Tim Hahne;
Post by TIm Hahne on July 15,2012. "Chris I remember doing this with your Krista and Kristin G. and now being able to help my grand-daughterr Katie was the highlight of the day for me. First time I've really had my hands in the clay since the last day of "Sawdust"1996".
Riply206 and racer4four thank you for the comments and with the detective work.....which is greatly appreciated :)
Weirdpuckett thank you ..........now I have to find a shade that looks great on it. :)
My dad, a Laguna Beach artist made this. Tim Hahne is the name... Any chance you might want to sell it to me? I don't have a whole lot of his work.
I just acquired a beautiful pot made by Tim Hahne in 1991. Am trying to find information on him and his pottery, seems to be a bit sporadic.
