This is my 3rd Kwik Way fan. There isn't much information available on them but a check of the patent dates shows the latest one as 1940. That doesn't mean it was made in 1940 though. Has more of a fifties vibe going so I would say circa 1950. It has a pressed steel motor housing which one doesn't see often pre 1950.
Anyway it has a great original paint job with a green cage and lighter green motor housing and blades which seem to be aluminum. It runs very quiet and well. The cord has been sliced to add an extra 10 feet to it, either there were no extension cords or they didn't think of that. Anyway still yet another cord to replace.
In the lat picture I have the Kwik Way Go Anywhere Fan with it. The motor housing and the fan blades are the same but the cage deign, rubber feet, and paint are different.
I can't believe that is original paint! Cool (no pun intended).
