Another great find, this measures 12" high by 5 1/4" wide at the top lip, almost looks like an earthenware or red clay with a glazed finish, does have a design under the glaze very prominent in areas and lighter in others, has Native American characteristics but just not sure on this piece, wondering if anyone out there might have some knowledge on it that they would like to share...if it is is Tribal or not perhaps how old, or where it may have originated, either way its a wonderful piece and I thank you for any info you may have

Native American potters never used a potter's wheel, or glazed their pottery.
