Another inherited item I have received. The background of this art work appears to be suede. Any info would be greatly appreciated . Not sure if this is Native American?

Still no answers, but I believe that this item was purchased in British Columbia Canada

Very pretty piece of Ojibwa or Cree beadwork. The beads appear to be late 1800's early 1900's. The soft colors like the pumpkin and greasy blue were popular with many different Tribes in the US & Canada during that time period. They don't/can't make many of these colors anymore. I've been collecting and using antique seed beads ever since I started beading as a young girl. Luv em. Nice piece.
