This lamp belonged to my great uncle, Benny Ray. As the story goes, Benny was involved in the Atlantic City rackets of the 20's and 30's. He allegedly "took a rap" for "Nucky" Johnson, the basis for the lead character of Boardwalk Empire and served time in federal prison for doing so. As for the lamp, I know very little about it, but I am intrigued by the official looking blue stamping on the back. Having no knowledge of lamps (or antiques for that matter), I am looking for a little help here. It's also marked B Rezl on the back, who I discovered was a European sculptor.
