These two postage stamps were issued by Argentina as a series of "Flowers" stamps; initially issued in 1982 as a series of thirteen different flowers and denominations, they reflected the serious inflationary values of 200 pesos all the way up to 50,000 pesos. - Monetary reform instituted in 1985 resulted of a re-issuance of the stamps from 1985 to 1988 with the new denominations in centavos and australs using the same designs except two newly added flowers. - The 1 austral shown here was issued in 1987 and the 2 austral shown here was issued in 1988. - ** Both stamps Mint condition with original gum (MNH OG)
