This interesting item I bought at a car boot fair this weekend in North Yorkshire, England. Now these I think are some kind of animal shears as they are very similar to a sheep shear but again like my other posts I can't be sure and would be great if anyone could identify their use.
They are froma company based in North Yorkshire that used to mainly design and make agricultural tools. They are in great condition and pull apart and come together very easily. They are approx 10" from end to end and the comb part are 3" wide.
I have a similar pair. they are animal shears--as I understand it they are used by vets to shave a small area down to the skin as needed for medical procedures.
