Found this at a garage sale for eight dollars. Complete with the back stand (which has minor damage to the top). The book is in good condition, some fading on the back and one of the hanging clips is broken off. The clasp closure is in great shape. The stand, which appears to have been part of the a set, is stamped:
"Patent 1895"
To top it off, the book is filled with old pictures. When I opened it I knew it was a score. About 15-20 different types of pictures including some Ambrotypes, I think. The book is think and heavy and the pages are very thick as well.
The case alone is fantastic - then you got photos! Score!
