My boyfriend and I were looking for a kitchen table that had character and we came across this table in an antique shop. We fell in love with it and asked the manager for information on it. He said he thought it was made in 1907. I have tried to find information on it. What I've learned so far is it is a primitive tilt-top chair table. I think it has bread board ends. I saw pictures of antique plank top tables but they weren't close up so I am wondering if my table top is considered the same. The top has three pieces of wood with the edging holding them together. If anyone can give me more detail or correct what I think I know please feel free to educate me. I am very curious about it.
It looks to be a drafting table.
Thank you for your information. Do you know when it might have been made?
