    Picked up this unusual coin in a large collection at auction recently.
    It is a mirrored version of a 1854 one cent coin.

    Anybody ever heared of such a coin before?

      I'm not a pro but I wouldn't buy it...............................it just looks fake..

      I wouldn't care if it's fake, it's very cool.

      It makes you wonder about the story behind it. Was it some sort of novelty cast from an impression of a real coin? Or was it some really bad attempt at counterfeiting?
