So we have an informal bet going around our house as to the function of this little rabbit. People have come up with garlic jar, watering can, sugar shaker and the equally implausible toothpick holder.
It is ceramic, hollow and around 9" high. The top of the tail has a large opening and the rabbits chest is punctured with evenly distributed holes.
What do you think it's for?
I think it could be a flower pot. It is glass so, I am guessing it is for inside
Hmmm - flatulence disperser?
I don't think so. It could also be used for probley fake flowers? That would be my best guess. That it is a flower pot. It seems to big to be a tooth brush holder..
Responses! :-D Really need to log-in more often.
It could be a flower pot. The opening is awfully small, perhaps an inch and a half long max. In this case the holes on the sides would be to help filter in air? @ Racer4four if it is a flower pot the holes in the belly would let out any natural gasses. How thoughtful of the designer.
Fake flowers, as in stick them in the holes? Could see that but then don't understand the tail hole.
You say that this figuring has holes in the belly? Could it be some type of fountain? For a garden.. Maybe the big hole in the tail is some type of spot that a big hose or some type of attachment to the fountain run... Then, the hole in the belly and mouth is where the water comes out..
We are a creative bunch, that's for sure!
Yes, I'm not really sure what else it could be... Maybe look in a antique book? You might be able to find something...
