    Can anyone HELP me idetify the type of pottery this is.I know I have seen similar in English pottery but I can't remember what it is called.I have googled my brain out today.
    This has CHINA on base & 6 Chinese marks which aren't very distinct.
    All help appreciated

      has anyone come up with a way to translate.I find using google translate very frustrating trying to write the chinese characters.
      any ideas?

      This type of porcelain lamp is usually or commonly referred to as a blanc de chine lamp.
      I have one with a removable lid. Quite a pretty vintage thing.
