This light fixture hangs in my stairway on a long brass chain. It measures about 24 inches tall including the top splay of leaves, the curved ornate pieces that hold three crystals each around the lower level are about 10 inches long. The crystals are about 1.5" across, octagonal cut flat on one side and pointed on the inside. When the light is off they look blue (first picture) and when lit from inside they look pink or red. The whole body of the lamp is metal, I was told brass although it may be something else. I love this light.... it was given to me by a keen eyed friend about 8 years ago after he salvaged it out of an abandoned building in the South that he said was a known brothel for a long period of time many moons ago. I love the story that comes with it as much as I love the light itself.
Any info?
Just wonderful. Almost looks a bit Persian to me.
A piece of naughty history! Very nice salvage!
Racer4four maybe, who knows how it ended up where it was. And naughty, you bet! :)
Well I like it even if it is a bit over the top. Good score
Looks like whoever made your lamp may have made my lamp shade... Don't know how to post a pic...I love it!!!
Cool LampLoverLady! I'd love to see it sometime if you get a chance to post a picture.
I put it as my profile pic but the crystals are missing-once I buy some and put them on, I'll post another pic.
