One of the worlds oldest and Famous French Malletiers that mysteriously disappeared .I had been searching for this manufacturer to add to my(bucket list) collection for around ten years. I would say it is the rarest in my collection.
Found in Washington Crossing Pa. Just over the Delaware river for 100 dollars.2 years ago.
It is made of wicker/oil cloth and Leather /white linen interior.Solid brass double lock hardware brass nails on the front and back slats. There is an interior wicker and linen tray as well.
30" long 20"ht. 21" wide only cleaning and leather conditioner were ever done to this one.

Yeah T-man wickers just didn't survive. most are destroyed. hard to find them in decent shape. Have only seen 4 examples world wide of Bazar du Voyage. All other examples of the label are with medallions this is not.Keep Mr.
Vuitton. I'll take these.Do some research - look it up you'll see metal work with all square nails and cool metal work on at least two of them. Hey BB2 how's the goats.
Drill, one of the new ones found a butterfly mine & made a midweek BBQ.
